As corporate vice president of H1Bees Inc marketing division, Shankar leads global marketing strategies including
worldwide advertising, relationship marketing and events. This involves negotiating and finalizing marketing and distribution arrangements with record companies, distributors and wholesalers. Shankar’s office also handles all the PR functions which serve as a single voice for the company and artists and represents them. Shankar’s office also coordinates with the media office for demo releases, digital releases, scheduling interviews, auditions and various other music/media related functions. Shankar has also been deeply involved in various roles such as a stage manager, event organizer etc in musical and theatre productions at BITS Pilani, charity concerts in the US and has also driven sponsorships for such events for more than 15 years now. Shankar also brings in a wealth of experience in retail distribution and marketing of DVDs and audio CDs through his contacts in the industry. Shankar has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters from BITS, Pilani in India. Away from work, Shankar is an avid music aficionado whose musical interests range widely from alternative rock to mainstream Indian music. Shankar also actively follows the New England Patriots and the Indian Cricket team in sports. Shankar and his wife Anuradha reside in Holden, MA.

Srikanth Devarajan, VP Entertainment, Media & Music

 As the corporate vice president of H1Bees Inc Entertainment, Media and Music Division, Srikanth Devarajan brings in vast experience in music production and sound design to the group. He provides technical evaluations of potential artists; facilitates time lines, creates concepts, projects scopes and is responsible for its proper execution. He coordinates in song productions & compositions, lyrics, recording schedule and various other media related activities. In short, Srikanth’s portfolio can be termed as the technical architect behind every H1bees Inc production. Srikanth, an eight graded piano player, music composer has released various singles and music albums. He also owns and runs a state of the art studio called, Studio1234. Srikanth experience includes working with main stream singers like S.P.Balasubramaniyam. Mahakavi, and H1BEES are his recent achievements. Srikanth hails from Chennai India; he holds a master degree in Commerce/Business management from Madras University. He runs his own IT shop that caters to various government and non-governmental agencies in and around Washington DC metro area. If not for work and music, you would catch Srikanth listening to A.R.Rahman or drooling over Sachin Tendulkar’s batting display. Srikanth, his wife Jayashree and his little daughter Sriya reside in Gaithersburg, MD.

 As a corporate vice president Srivatsa serves as the executive liaison officer between external partners and internal groups of the company. Srivatsa brings in his expertise in identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with business partners. He identifies, prioritizes and pursues new and existing opportunities with partners. His role is not limited to understanding new business opportunities and business models, he also evaluates their relevance to H1bees's Vision. His office is responsible for finding potential buyers and underwriters for various stage of music production including shows performances, road show and online sales. Vatsa is a music admirer who has been involved with music as a learner, listener and an organizer for more than 10 years. He has been actively involved in various charity music productions. Popularly known as Vatsa among his peers, Srivatsa Srinivasan graduated from BITS, Pilani with an Engineering degree in Electronics. Srivatsa lives in South Riding VA with his wife Suhashini and son Shreehari. |
